New Website = New Thoughts

Do you like the new site? There is the best story behind it. So here goes.

I was sitting at home moderating the official bulletin board of my favourite TV chef, (If you know me at all, you know who the chef that will remain nameless is, BAM!) when out of the blue, my doorbell rang. (I recently got my doorbell replaced with the theme song of a certain TV chef who will remain nameless. Let's just say, I kicked the doorbell up a notch.)

I took my time getting to the door as I hadn't dressed or showered for the day yet. When I answered, much to my surprise was the hit thug rap recording artist Xzibit. After my blood curdling scream died down to just a constant nasal whistle (Xzibit is my favourite Rap Artist/TV car makeover show host) Xzibit explained to me that he was at my house to "Pimp My Website".

"Good day kind friend. I have come to your home to inform you that we are going to assist you in making your website a better user end experience.", explained Xzibit.

I offered Xzibit and his website specialist Leonard some of my world famous tea and scones, and they gladly accepted.

"I often have tea with the Queen of England while I vacation in London.", explained Xzibit. "However the matter, this tea and these scones are the finest this side of the River Thames.", Xzibit added.

After several hours of deep philosophical and existentialist discussion, Xzibit and his friend Leonard began to talk to me about what type of content I wanted for my website. I explained to them that I definitely wanted Tommy Lee Jones to be the face of www.jaredsales.com. I see Tommy Lee Jones as this deep, ironic, and rugged soul, and if jaredsales.com was going to have a face associated with it, to me it was Tommy Lee Jones. Unfortunately, Tommy Lee Jones is already the face of Paulapoundstone.com and LouieAnderson.com. I'm still desperately on the search for a face for this website, if anyone has any ideas at all, please contact me.

In the end we decided that instead of a celebrity, we would add high resolution quicktime videos and a fancy new gui.

"This is incredible. Your website is so awe-inspiring that it feels like someone has left the telephone off the cradle.", said Xzibit.

So there you go...oh shit...I forgot to ask Xzibit if he'd be the face of jaredsales.com . Oh well.

This site is still under construction, but things will happen rather quickly. This space is the "blog space", this is where I will post random one off thoughts that I have from time to time, like today I thought, "hey look, it's raining". Okay, I will try and make my thoughts funnier next time, especially the ones I choose to share with you here. Soon there will be video blogs updated several times a week, new music videos, new comedy shorts, pictures of funny things I see around and much more.
